The ISSC is committed to encouraging all to play and enjoy the Gaelic Games no matter their ability, in an atmosphere that promotes fun, friendship and personal growth.
The Irish Sporting and Social Club was formed in 1974 with the aim of bringing the local Irish community together socially and to promote the games of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie. Today, the GAA club is a blend of Irish immigrants, second generation Irish descendants, Canadians and other nationalities.

In the European Champions Cup Rugby, Saracens overcame Clermont 28-17 to retain the cup for a second successive year.
In the UEFA Champions League Final, Real Madrid beat Juventus with top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo netting twice to secure the victory for the Spanish stars.
We changed focus to North American sports for the next few events in June. Pittsburgh went the full 7 games (& double OT) before overcoming Ottawa in the Eastern Conference whilst Nashville beat Anaheim in 6 games to lift the Western Trophy. This set up a Pittsburgh Penguins v Nashville Predators Stanley Cup Final which the Penguins took in game 6.
Golden State Warriors faced Cleveland Cavaliers for the 3rd successive NBA final. The Warriors won in 2015 whilst the Cavs had won in 2016. The Warriors came out victorious this year only dropping 1 game in the playoff series to win 4-1 and take back the trophy.
Next-up is the US Open golf tournament from Erin Hills, Wisconsin.
