The ISSC is committed to encouraging all to play and enjoy the Gaelic Games no matter their ability, in an atmosphere that promotes fun, friendship and personal growth.”
The club runs a number of successful teams including the Vancouver Harps and Vancouver Celts Men’s Football, Ladies Gaelic Football and Camogie.
The ISSC continues to promote and support Irish cultural and sporting events in Greater Vancouver, and are always welcoming new members. Each year we run a skills academy where we teach the basics of gaelic football and camogie to both new players and returning.
We also run a Gaelic for Mothers & Others and Youth Gaelic program to promote gaelic football within Irish families here in Vancouver.
In November 2019, ISSC celebrated our 45th anniversary with a Gala Dinner Dance at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront Vancouver. To get a peek at this fun-filled night check out the photos by Juan Sanchez.
In the few short months following this celebration, our way of life both on and off the field was impacted by Covid19.
To ensure the ISSC continues to grow and develop, our committee and development team are working on a new club development plan to incorporate the future of GAA in Vancouver and Canada in light of Covid19.
In the meantime, please find the existing ISSC Club Development Plan (Nov2014) please click here.
